Product Description

About

The Philodendron Prince of Orange is a vibrant houseplant, popular for its bright, colour-changing foliage. The name is derived from its unique leaves which transition from vibrant orange to different shades of green as they mature. This plant, native to South America, is considered easy to care for and makes an attractive addition to any indoor green space, whether you are a novice or an expert gardener.

Care Tips

1. Light: This plant prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate medium indirect light as well. Avoid direct sunlight as it may scorch the leaves.

2. Water: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between watering. Overwatering can lead to root rot.

3. Temperature: Philodendron Prince of Orange enjoys a tropical environment, so try to keep the room temperature between 18-27°C.

4. Humidity: It likes high humidity but can survive in lower humidity levels as well. If your home is dry, consider using a humidifier.

5. Soil: Use a well-draining, peat-based potting mix.

6. Fertilizer: Feed every two weeks with a balanced houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength during spring and summer. In the cooler fall and winter months, you can cut back feeding to once a month.

7. Pruning: Trim any discolored, diseased, or dead leaves as they appear to keep your plant healthy and attractive.

8. Repotting: Repot your Philodendron Prince of Orange every 2-3 years, or when it becomes root-bound.

Always remember, this plant is toxic if ingested by pets or humans. Therefore, keep it out of reach of children and pets.
