    Product Description

Product: 1 x Frangipani Fruit Salad Cutting Approx 30cm. Cut on the day of shipping. Frangipani Fruit Salad, also known as Plumeria rubra 'Fruit Salad' or simply Plumeria, is a beautiful tropical plant native to warm climates. Known for its striking, vibrantly coloured flowers that have a delicious sweet fragrance, it can grow to heights of up to 8 metres. The flowers of the Fruit Salad variety showcase a mix of pink, yellow and white colours, thus earning its fruity nickname. Care Guide for Frangipani in Australia: 1. Location: Frangipani Fruit Salad enjoys full sun and warm weather. Hence, place it in a location that gets at least six hours of sunlight daily. 2. Soil: It prefers well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil. Sandy loam or gravel with a bit of added compost is perfect. 3. Water: This plant is drought-tolerant once established, but needs regular watering while it's young. Make sure not to over-water, as it is susceptible to root rot. 4. Fertilizer: Feed with a slow-release granular fertilizer in spring to support growth. 5. Pruning: Prune the Frangipani after flowering to maintain a neat shape. To grow from a cutting: 1. Let it dry for about two weeks until the cut end forms a callous. 2. Dip the cut end into a rooting hormone powder and then place it into a pot filled with a mix of potting mix and coarse sand. Only bury it around 10cm deep, making sure the pot provides adequate drainage. 3. Water it thoroughly and then let the soil dry out before watering again. 4. The cutting should take root in 4-6 weeks, during which time it should be kept in a warm, sunny location. After the roots are established, it can be transplanted into a larger pot or directly into the ground.
