Product Description
1x Desert Rose Plant - May or may not be flowering at time of purchase
The Desert Rose Pale Pink Paris is a succulent bush native to Eastern and South-eastern Africa and Arabia. It's known for its stunning pale pink blooms that resemble the romantic flowers found in Paris. The plant boasts beautiful bright pink flowers with thick succulent-like stems and leathery dark green leaves. Its flowers often grow in clusters, adding a lush aesthetic. These slow-growing plants can reach up to 1 to 3 meters in height in the wild, though in pots they usually only grow around 1 meter.
Alternative Names:
This plant is also commonly known as Adenium Obesum, Adenium 'Pink Paris,' Sabi Star, Impala Lily, Kudu Lily, and Pink Bignonia.
Care Guide:
1. Location: The Desert Rose loves plenty of sunlight and can withstand a dry climate. If kept indoors, place near a sunny window or outdoors, it can withstand the hot summer sun.
2. Watering: They are drought-tolerant plants but still require water to grow. In summer, water once a week or when the top 2-3cm of soil has dried out. In winter, watering should be reduced significantly to prevent root rot.
3. Soil: Desert Rose prefers well-draining soil, such as a cactus mix or sandy soil. Ensure it's planted in a pot with good drainage.
4. Temperature: It thrives best in warm temperatures above 10 degrees Celsius.
5. Fertilizer: Apply a slow-release fertilizer during the growing season for the best flower production.
6. Pruning: Pruning can be done in early spring to maintain the shape of the plant and encourage bushier growth.
7. Re-potting: Re-pot the plant every 2-3 years as the plant grows.
