Product Description

Spotted Aloe is a unique and decorative succulent plant. It is characterised by its striking green leaves with white spots and toothed edges, giving it a distinctive appearance.

Care Guide:
1. Light: Spotted Aloe thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. Place it near a south or west-facing window for optimal growth. However, be cautious of direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves.

2. Water: Water sparingly, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it is important to avoid standing water in the pot. In the winter months, reduce watering frequency to prevent waterlogged soil.

3. Soil: Use a well-draining cactus or succulent mix for planting Spotted Aloe. Adding perlite or sand to the soil mix can further improve drainage and prevent root rot.

4. Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures between 18-27°C. Protect the plant from extreme cold temperatures below 10°C as it can cause damage to the leaves.

5. Fertiliser: Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser diluted to half strength during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid fertilising in the winter months when the plant is dormant.

6. Repotting: Repot Spotted Aloe every 2-3 years or when it outgrows its current container. Choose a slightly larger pot with proper drainage holes and fresh soil mix for repotting.

7. Pests and Diseases: Relatively pest-resistant, but it may attract mealybugs or spider mites. Keep an eye out for any signs of infestation and treat them promptly with insecticidal soap or neem oil.

Spotted Aloe can thrive and enhance the beauty of your indoor garden or succulent collection. Enjoy its unique appearance and interesting growth habits as it grows and flourishes in your home.
