Urban Thumbs - Seller Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Urban Thumbs, Australia's premier online marketplace for plants! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") outline the rules and regulations for sellers ("Sellers") who wish to list and sell their plants on the Urban Thumbs platform. By accessing or using Urban Thumbs as a Seller, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1.  Account Registration

Sellers must create an account on Urban Thumbs to list their plants for sale.

You must provide accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process.

Urban Thumbs reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided is found to be false or misleading.

2.  Listing Guidelines

Sellers are responsible for creating accurate and detailed listings for their plants, including clear photos and descriptions.

Listings must not contain any misleading information or deceptive practices.

Urban Thumbs reserves the right to remove or edit any listings that do not comply with our guidelines.

3.  Plant Quality

Sellers must ensure that all plants listed for sale are healthy, disease-free, and accurately represented in the listings.

Any known issues or defects with the plants must be disclosed in the listing description.

Urban Thumbs may request additional information or photos to verify the quality of the plants.

4.  Pricing and Payments

Sellers are responsible for setting their own prices for the plants they list on Urban Thumbs.

Urban Thumbs charges a commission on each sale, as outlined in our fee schedule.

Payments for sales will be processed through Urban Thumbs' payment system, and Sellers will receive their earnings minus the commission.

5.  Shipping and Delivery

Sellers are responsible for packaging and shipping plants to buyers in a timely manner.

Sellers must accurately estimate shipping costs and delivery times in their listings.

Urban Thumbs is not responsible for any damages or delays that occur during shipping, but we may assist in resolving disputes between Sellers and buyers.

6. Communication with Buyers

Sellers must respond promptly to any inquiries or messages from buyers regarding their listings.

Communication with buyers must be professional and courteous at all times.

Urban Thumbs may intervene if there are any disputes or issues between Sellers and buyers.

7. Compliance with Laws

Sellers must comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to plant quarantine laws and consumer protection laws.

Urban Thumbs reserves the right to report any illegal or fraudulent activities to the appropriate authorities.

8. Intellectual Property

Sellers retain ownership of the intellectual property rights to their listings and any content they upload to Urban Thumbs.

By listing a plant for sale on Urban Thumbs, Sellers grant Urban Thumbs a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the listing content for promotional purposes.

9. Termination of Account

Urban Thumbs reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Seller's account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason deemed appropriate.

In the event of account termination, any outstanding payments owed to the Seller will be paid out in accordance with our payment schedule.

10. Changes to Terms

Urban Thumbs reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.

Sellers will be notified of any changes to the Terms, and continued use of Urban Thumbs constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
