Product Description

The Foxtail Palm, also known as Wodyetia bifurcata, is a striking and unique palm tree native to Australia. Its long, arching fronds resemble a fox's tail, hence its common name. This palm is a popular choice for landscaping in tropical and subtropical regions due to its tropical appearance and low maintenance requirements.

Care Guide:
- Light: Foxtail Palms thrive in full sun to partial shade. They prefer bright, indirect sunlight.
- Water: Water regularly, keeping the soil evenly moist but never waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings.
- Soil: Plant Foxtail Palms in well-draining soil with organic matter.
- Temperature: Foxtail Palms are best suited for warm, tropical climates and do not tolerate frost well.
- Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced fertilizer designed for palm trees during the growing season.
- Pruning: Remove dead or damaged fronds as needed to maintain the plant's appearance.
- Pests: Foxtail Palms are relatively pest-resistant but may occasionally attract scale insects or mealybugs. Treat infestations promptly with insecticidal soap or horticultural oil.
